Physical - Rock-Climbing

I'm now crazy about rock-climbing. I've been rock-climbing two or three times a week. Now my grade is 4th in bouldering, 5.11a in lead climbing.

My goal in this area is to climb Yosemite in two years. To do that, I have to build my body up, exercise every day, and take a proper diet to loose weight.

I'm 31 years old now. My life is limited. My time is dwindling. So, I must do.

Business - Searching for a job

To tell the truth, I'm searching for a new job. I'm thinking to want to get a job which is done abroad. Directly, I want to use English on business to enhance my basic abilities.

Working abroad is one of my dreams. Speaking several languages, I handle tough matters on various situations on business. I had a dream, which is shinning on a continental.

I'm kind of tired of my current job. It's not bad, rather better than most of other jobs. I have a plenty of pay, good relationship, and suitable workspace.


However, I must go.

Beijing - Confucius

Confucius is very famous in Japan. He apears in various situation, such as books of business, or textbooks in school. His wisdom is often talked in people. The living of diligent, modesty, and strenuous.

He used to say, "The man in his thirties has to accomplish something. And the man in his forties has not to doubt." This word made me surprised, when I read this in a book. It's because I used to consider my thirties as like something fuzzy, but this word let me really awake.


I'll stand vigorously in front of my live. Living my life, accomplishing something.

Beijing - The Beer

I drunk beer in Beijing twice, although I had been quitting drinking entirely. There were some reasons. First, it looked like that I had to order a kind of beer. Generally speaking, people in a restaurant often order some alcohol.

Second, remenber that this trip's purpose was researching, not for sightseeing. So, at the proper restaurant I had to order beer for research. Researching the sales of beer or something is always important in the researching trip.

Finally, I had loved China. So, I had to drink beer. That means that ordering beer costs more money. Spending more money is valuable for the local economy. Booming the economy is that China will be a more wonderful country. It makes me happy.

English - In the TOEIC test

I got 895 points in the last TOEIC test. The score is not bad generally. However, my target score was over 900 points, as I had mentioned over and over again. So, I was a little disappointed when I saw the result.

But, to tell the truth, I was truly glad to get the grade. It's because the grade was my highest score and was 60 points higher than the last one. I had been fairly afraid that I got the lower score than the last one.

By the way, my journey is just beginning. I should struggle to enhance my English skills from now on too. In March, I would get the nearly 990 points and be very pleased to get my goal. And, and, and, , , I'll do something. I'll do something.

Beijing - Chinese women

To tell the truth, I liked Chinese women in Beijing. They were really pretty and look like pure. For instance, at the souvenir shop I had a nice conversation with them. As well as at the hotel, the ladies were really smart.

To tell the truth again, I liked Chinese people. That is, it's because they looked like diligent and having dreams. They had something Japanese don't have. Their eyes were shining and clear. Especially, the women's emotion was very impressive.


I'll come back again. To see them, to meet them.

Beijing - Continental

I felt "continental" in China. Of course, China lies Eurasia, the huge continent. That I was swallowed up by the waves of people in buses made me felt "continental". That I was in the suburbs in Beijing and felt the sunset made me thinking a lot.

China was great, in terms of its scale. There were a lot of people, a lot of cars, and a lot of buildings. Rather, there was something big. I saw this as a continental life. Yes. I felt that I should send a continental life, not a small life. I thought that I should think big, or speak three different language.

I have to live as a continent. I have to live like something big. I have not to get the details. I have not to fall into a pit. I should be eager to concentrate into my life. My life deserves continental.


I am not satisified with my life, amn't I?

Beijing - Speaking English

I had fairly speaked English in China. Before leaving for China, I had heard of that I couldn't use English in China because most of Chinese don't speak English. So, I had given up practicing English in China in advance.

Contrary the expectation, I could fortunately speak English in China. Such as at the hotels, at the airport, and at the stores. Although at the last trip to NYC and London I used the textbook of the travel conversation of English, this time I could fluently speak English without the books. This made me more confidant.

That I can speak English is a passport to communicate with the world. It's extraordinary valuable. Several years ago I couldn't completely hava a good command of English. Not at all. I wasn't able to write even a sentence, and speak even a conversation. It made me frastrated.

However, through the struggle with English, I can do these little by little. I got the good score in exams. I had started the lessons with native speakers. The more important thing is that I become to be able to travel all around the world. It makes me widen.


In summary, it's good that I've studied English.

Beijing - The buses

Of course, buses were running in the city of Beijing. I thought the bus system of Beijing was good. It means that the fare was extraordinarily reasonable and the number of the running bus was many.

People in Beijing really often ride the buses. The buses run throughout the city surprisingly. Plus, the bus is cleaner that expected in advance.

I rode the buses several times. Riding the bus is one of the wonderful memories in Beijing. I could see the people in the bus and could know the life of the people.

The best way of knowing the nation and people is, I think, riding buses. The bus reflects public lifestyle and the level of their life. This is an important thing.


Anyway, I ride the train too.

Beijing - KFC

One of the most surprised things was there were really many KFC stores. KFC was much more than even McDornald's or StarBucks. Chinese like the chicken, don't they?

I ate the chicken, by the way, but it was not delicious, I think. That chicken was smaller than the Japanese one. However, there were a lot of Chinese in the stores.

Anyway, mainly young people like the fast food shops, as Japanese. The stores are clean and have standard. We are relieved with the factors.


By the way, I used to be a vegetarian. Where am I?

China - The toilet

People say that the toilets in China are extraordinary dirty. For instance, there are no partition between the bowls, or there are pigs that have the flowing something. My father used to travel China and said that the toilets were foul too.

One of the purposes in traveling China this time is to research how dirty the toilet is. This is almost a joke, but somewhat serious. It is true that the toilets reflect the nation's cilivization degree.

Anyway, I had looked up the toilets in Beijing, and I was really surprised. The toilets were surely clean. There were the toilets with fine facilities and good cleanness. I was very comfortable about relieving myself.


Finally, the toilets in China are becoming really clean.

China - Beijing

Let me introduce Beijing even in this English blog.

I had been to Beijing for five days, from Dec. 1st to Dec. 5th. It was really fantastic. I saw real China, the truth of communism, and the mentalities of Chinese. It was really instrumental in understanding the world. Adding to that, I had been preoccupied with the concept of "continental".

Now is late, so I'll describe that in this blog tomorrow. I promise that.

I should write something

I should write something in this blog in order to make my writing ability enhance. During the daytime I mainly study English grammar these days. Doing the dictation is held in the morning. So, what I have to do at night is writing English.

Writing proper and sophisticated English sentences is challenging. I have to learn tons of idiom, various phrases, and difficult syntaxes. I would have to proceed little by little certainly.

I have a dream. The dream is far from now standing. However, I cannot help trying that. It's my fate.

How wonderful China is!

Hi everyone,

I had been to China, Beijing for five days, from Dec 1st to 5th. I was really excited and impressed. I was wondering that which constitution between Japan and China is better, what image the 20-year-later China has, how I get along with Chinese people, and so on.

I got a fever. The fever was like a dream. A couple years later I'll be speaking three different languages and make a conversation with three different people. I had had a image of "continental" for China, Chinese, or the future me. I would be a "continental" person in my thirties.

Traveling around the world is really all good. What I saw in China makes me driving crazy. I would drive my car like a crazy. My target had been settled completely. What I have to do next is "just do it". Just do it with this new experience. The China was really great.

The 127th TOEIC test is over

I took the test yesterday. My feeling to the test was not bad. I think I'll get nearly 900 points.

However, I am not at the level of getting above 900 points. That means I maybe get 900 points but my ability doesn't deserve that. I have to strive much more.

To be specific, I have to do the following things for the next test:

1. Strengthening grammar ability
2. Enriching my vocabulary
3. Reading a tons books
4. Dictating again
5. Writing more sophisticated sentences
6. Speaking more fluently, more fluently


I now describing the details below.

1. Strengthening grammar ability

I am reading the book that I used to read for studying grammar. This book is good for me. Then I'll completely master this book and I have to complete my grammar skills.

This is scheduled for 11/27/2006 to 12/10/2006.


2. Enriching my vocabulary

Let me see, how can I do that? What should I do for my vocabulary? The vocabulary book for natives was too difficult for me. Whereas the book written by Japanese is not sutable for me. In conclusion, I have to make my own vacabulary book step by step.


3. Reading a tons books

For Part 5, I have to read various books. Above all, I am thinking to read "Catcher in the Rye" soon. Reading a tons books makes me more tough for English, I guess.


4. Dictating again

Approaching the next test, I'll begin dictating English using the TOEIC materials again. The dictation is really valuable for me. And to get above 900 points, it is necessary.


5. Writing more sophisticated sentences

I try this.


6. Speaking more fluently, more fluently

I try this with my tutor, Christie.

The day after tomorrow

The day after tomorrow is the day at which I have to really do my best. The Toeic Test will be held. I have been eager to dictate English senteces using Toeic materials. I started dictating about four weeks ago. On average I've done it for three hours a day. I now make some mistakes in dictation, but it looks like I graduate to be better.

If I can't get above 900 points, I think I won't be disappointed. It's because I am really doing my best. And I am going to continue to do my best.

Dreams

I have a pen on this blog for a long time. I've really been eager to dictate English recently. November 26th, the day I'll exert all my energy, is coming.

After that day, I would start writing English thoroughly. It's to communicate properly with foreign people. I am going to dive into the new sea. It's a paradise. It's a dreamy plase.

I can't wait any more. I can't wait to get my proper place and give my all energy to them. And finally I will meet a person, who is with red string. She is with a bluebird, happy bluebird.

Business Diary - 10/26

Yesterday:

I could climb the route which I had never climbed. It was a fantastic experience. There was namely steep rock, and normal people couldn't climb on. I got it.


Today:

I have two meetings today. The first one is the meeting of the system for my new client, Futab- Railway Industrial Corp. The second one is the meeting for comfirmation of the progress of the analisis to the client, Hor- Engineering Inc. And tomorrow is the day which I'll attend the training course concerning the facilitation.


I'd make today the good day.

Business Diary - Wednesday, October 25th

Today, I have to test the application which is namely ITGenka. The test cases of today are following: the workflow system works correctly on preorder area, the interface between the project management system and the accounting system, R model of Obic7, is appropriate considering the transaction integration.

Yesterday, I had to this system too. That progress seems no problem for me. Anyway, this system must be released on the end of this month.

After the work is over, I would go rock-climbing at Isara, my favarite rock-gym. Then, I'll end today's job by five thirty.

The Old Man and the Sea

I bought "The Old Man and the Sea", which is a very famous book, needless to say. The reason why I bought that is to make my writing skill improve. Generally speaking, the writing skill of people depends on the amount of books which they'd read. People meet a new word or a new expression for the first time, then they take in that to themselves.

I would read this book carefully making sure that the expression is available for me or the words are useful for me. After that, I can write proper sentences at last. I would finally get the goal of studying English. My journey don't have a goal, but when I end the journey, I would be with the blue bird.


With literary works I find myself.

Dectation

I started to do the dectation, which is a famous practise of studying English, last week. I need to improve my English ability thoroughly. I need a drastic change to get above 900 points on the TOEIC TEST. My time is dwindling. My dream is just broken.

After last week I am concentrating the dictation extraordinarily. What I have to do is only the dectation. As a child, I am enjoying the game, dectation.

If this situation continues for a long time, about one month, my English skill would be boosted up the place where I never imagined before.


My mission appears to be clear.

This Saturday

I have to go work on this Saturday. Actually, that is not work, training. The content is "Efficient Facilitation". The most interesting thing is that course will be held by a teacher who is American. He is also a MBA holder. He can speak both English and Japanese fluently, the Personel Department said.

My precious holiday is gone, but the other valuable time comes.

Mizonokuchi

I went to the fitness center in Mizonokuchi to rock-climb. I rock-climb two days in a row. That is the first experience of mine. That is, I wondered climbing in a row would make my body thoroughly tired. Although my body sores now, I on the whole am good.

Then, I would rock-climb three times a week from now. That's my task on my physical area.

iPod was broken

My iPod broke today. When I was on the train home, exercising the dictation, my iPod suddenly broke. I was really shocking, because that meat I could not continue dictating English. My time to the goal is becoming short.

What's happened? My iPod recovered from the trouble. It works. I think that that trouble came from merely shortage of the battery. I can use it tomorrow too. My luck is booming up.

English Lesson

I have taken lessons of speaking English. I contacted my tutor directly about one month ago. My tutor's name is Christie. She is a good person and good at speaking Japanese. We meet on Saturdays almost every week. A hour lesson is held.

The content is mainly free conversation. About what I do this week, my progress of studying English, and so on, we usually talk. And About grammar, pronounciation, and vocabulary, I ask her. We had taken lessons four times so far. That's really useful for me.

Today, I took her lesson. Regrettably, I couldn't speak English well, because I was disappointed by getting bad score of the last Toeic Test. I am, however, getting light of improving my English ability through hard work. What I have to do now is only one thing: concentrate on studying English.

North Japan Alps

I went to the North Japan Alps to climb a mountain with my colleages. I rode on the train at 17:00 on Saturday, October 7th from the Shinjuku Station. Arriving at the Matsumoto Station, I joined other members at an Izakaya and drunk a glass of beer, going to my hotel and sleeping in my bed.

We got up the next day at around 3:45. After that, we left the hotel for the entrance of the mountain which we were goint to climb. At 6:30, I started to climb the mountain in the slight rain. I had to buy a raincoat at the shop.

Climbing mountains is really fan. The steeper the slope of mountains, The more I enjoy. the bigger my legs feel a load, The more I enjoy. I really like strenuous sports.

vs Ghana

I went to Nissan Stadium on last Wednesday with my little brother. Regretably, Japan team lost to Ghana 0-1. Since the ticket is 7,000 yen, the place of our seats was very good.

Plus, I weared the Japan uniform which I bought when the World Cup in German held. That day's game was not perfectly good, but I would go to a stadium when Japan team have a game.

I bought tichets of the football game in which Japan face Ghana tomorrow. The thing is, I had slight hope that I can go with someone girl together. However, reality is bitter. I would go there with my young brother alongside sadness.

However, I am seriously looking forward to seeing that game. As I had mentioned, I am a crazy fan of the Japan new coach Osim. And I haven't seen a game at a studium but on TV for a long time. Tomorrow would become a fantastic day, isn't it?

I am planning to learn playing a piano. Music is the last area that I would have to do in my life. Playing a piano, singing a song, and dancing a dance are the remainder of tasks that I have to do in my life.

What I feel today

Last week I didn't have good days. I couldn't speak English fruently during the English lesson. I couldn't study English or something over the weekend. I couldn't have a positive perspective on my life.

These are because, probably, I was very tired. I was too tired to be able to think. I had kept rock-climbing twice a week. I had kept studying English or something all day and every day. I had kept my tension high.

Now I, however, feel my power. I can do anything. My direction is not wrong. My road to the goal keeps right track. I would complete my tasks as early as possible. I would be a greater man than I expected. The time comes.

What I do today

I got up at 7 a.m. this morning. After that, I did a wash and went to my office.

In my office I prepared some documents for afternoon's meeting with our client in the morning, and in the afternoon I had a meeting with my most important client and after getting back to the office, I researched on the new technology.

I left the office at around 9 p.m. and during riding on the commuter train, I read the book written about ASP.NET. By the way, I have been eager for ASP.NET, which is of course the developer's software produced by Microsoft, because of it's revolutionary feature and the things that it would make possible.

Getting my home, I took a shower and had a cold pear. After that I did the training of speaking and writing English through reading a book out loud and doing the dictation. As I had mentioned, dictating English is extremly useful to those who are the starting point of studying English.

And now, I am writing this blog in English after writing some mails in English. Then I would go to bed at around 1 a.m. dreaming of wonderful things, which is brought thanks to being without alcohol.

125th TOEIC Test is over

The 125th TOEIC Test is over. And my ambition to get above 900 points was broken.

The listening section was more difficult than I anticipated in advance. Especially the British accent bothered me thoroughly. I regreted not studying hard on listening English. At the next time I would totally master on the listening section, especially the British accent by subscribing the BBC news on my iPod.

I have nothing but English. My friend and even my lover is like English. Mastering English is my only dream. Without English, there would be no hope in my life. --- To practice writing English, these sentences is kind of exaggerated.

I went to Isara, a rock gym, to rock-climb this evening. I could climb the route that I had focused on. From this week I decided I go to the gym twice a week. Climbing twice a week makes me more powerful and be a good climber.

Workbook

I have been trying workbooks for the next Toeic Test recently. There is a point that I noticed when did that. That is I am not I who existed four months ago. Four months ago I took the Toeic Test and got 855 points. That was terrible memory. However I have very much improved in English, especially writing English.

By the growth of writing ability, I can solve grammer problems easily. I feel that definitely. Thanks God! Finally I would get over 900 points on the next Toeic Test. I deserve it apparently.

My new teacher, Christie

I met my new teacher, Christie, in Shinjuku yesterday. Seeing her, I was surprised that she was so good at speaking Japanese. The thing that she can speak Japanese well has both the good side and the not good side.

The good side is of course convenient to communicate with each other on the difficult matter of English, such as about grammer. On the other hand the bad side is to make my motivation down by the fact that she can speak Japanese.


By the way, the die is cast. I would continue taking her lessons with enthusiasm.

United 93

I watched the movie, 'United 93', which is depicted about that horrible affair, 9.11, yesterday. As I had imagined in advance, that movie was totally serious. That had overwhelming reality of that affair. The people lived. The people cried. And the people struggled.

Watching that, my tear naturally dropped down from my eyes. Those who were in the theater cried too. Especially five minutes of the end completely made us embarrassed by the result of that affair. 'United 93' is the movie that I never watch again, but this is the movie that I had to watch and I felt good to watch.

About English

I have to do nothing but study English. On the next Toeic Test I would get over 900 points. I think I deserve it. It's because I have studied English at least three hours a day. I have read various books more than anyone else. I have listened various material more than anyone else.

The time is coming. In two weeks from now I would do my best to enhance my English ability. My oath is becoming firm thoroughly.

I enjoy climbing

I am totally enjoying rock-climbing. I go to the rock gym at least once a week. My power of grip is booming up and my body is shaping up. I am completely satisfied with my physical area.

In a year, I would obtain ideal physical power and have a starting point to climb "Everest".

American Football

I went to the Tokyo Dome to watch an American Football game played with the team which my company sponsor. And my team won a landslide victory, 56-3.

After that game, I went to a Izakaya with my colleagues. The of course, I didn't drink alcohol. My oath is completely solid. I'm proud of that.

Abe, Shinzou

I had read a book written by Shinzou Abe, who is probably the next Prime Minister. Before that, I rather don't like him, because he didn't seem to be smart especially when he had his speech.

In this book he talks about Japan and Japanese, especially the pride of Japanese. He seems to be a good politician.

Injured

I have been injured in the foot for almost two months. Two months ago, when I tried to stand on my hands at the Inogashira Park, I fell down and strongly hurt my toe. At that time I thought that the injure was slight, but now that one still makes me irritate.

I am thinking to go to a hospital to be checked my toe. It may be broken.

I like Osim

I like Ivica Osim, a new Japan coach. There are several reasons. First, I had hated Zico, a former Japan coach, thoroughly. 'Zico Japan', which means Japan team managed by Zico, seemed for me to be terribly a bad team.

Second, Osim seems to be philosopher. A philosopher can teach his pupils universal rules. A philosopher can advocate proper things to the public. I like philosophers. Therefore, I like Osim.

Finally, I have a confidence that Osim will finally get a tichet to the World Cup, which be held in South Africa in 2010. His understanding to soccer is unbelivable. His idea to soccer is excellent. And his enthusiasm to soccer is respectable.


I like Osim. And I would go to South Africa with him.

Isara, a climbing gym in Kichijouji

I went to a climbing gym, that's name is isara, in Kichijouji today. That was the second time to go there.

In Isara, there are several bouldering walls and one top roping wall. That is the smallest space I have ever seen.

However, since I can go there within only ten minutes and the fare is very reasonable, say, one thousand yen, Isara is very good place for me.

I would climb up these climbing walls at lease every week.

Alcohol

Since I swore I keep writing this blog everyday, I do it right now.

I have a thing that I have to tell you. On August 23th, I quit drinking completely. That is a memorable day as I be first able to quit drinking in my life.

To do that, I had read a book that be written about quiting drinking. The book's name is "EASY WAY TO CONTROL ALCOHOL", written by Allen Carr, a writer in England.


Anyway I can do whatever I imagine.

I restart to write the English blog almost every day

The term of inputting English was over. It's beginning of outputting English, i.e., speaking and writing English. I already said that I would take lessons of English conversation. What I have to do next is to write English on this blog every day.

Writing ablity ties up with speaking ability, of course. Then ability of outputting English ties up with ability of inputting English, too. So, I should do that. I should keep writing English on this blog every day and every time. I swear that.

I probably restart English lessons

The day before yesterday, I went to the My-sensei.com, a website which introduce freelance native speakers, to restart English conversation lessons. Then I got e-mail addresses of my future teacher and offered an appointment.

Last month was the time that my reading ability was thoroughly trained. I had read several books which of course written by English, e.g., "iCon", "The Chrysanthemum and the Sword", and "Religious, Values, and Peak-Experiences".

The time comes. I would begin severe English training with a native speaker. I would thoroughly make my brain sharpen by intensive training. And I would go on and on walking through English woods to realize my dream, my purpose, and my own character.

To tell you the truth I really did no work at my office today. I'm sorry about that. I, however, did research the newest methodologies of software development and develop my new trial product for my company. Today was a good day for me.

There was something today that my friend challenge me to competing a dictation of the speech by Steve Jobs at the YouTube. That was welcome. I had felt the time is coming that I should start doing dictations these days. I think I would win. My concentration to English is high level in my life.

I bought sandals yesterday

I went to Suidoubashi to buy new sandals. My old sandals was broken. Then I've needed new ones. At the Sakaiya, a famous outdoor goods shop, I was looking for reasonable, powerful sandales. And then I bought ones for about 9,000 yen.

I'd like to say here is a good one is good. Until now, I've only wore cheap ones. Like 2,000 yen sandals. My new sandals is, however, very brilliant. It's light and comfortable to fit. I love that. I could walk with this like forever. I realized that a good one is really good.

I have to get driver's license

I have to get driver's license because I expired my license over the due date. I was shocked. Very, very shocked. It's becausetThat would cost me huge time and huge money. I was careless and my mom was too. The notice form the center of driver's license was ignored by my home. But I was wrong. I was wrong that I didn't notice the due date.


Then I would be eager to get driver's license again. I'm intelligent and earnest. It would be done.

At Shinjuku, I bought black leather shoes for business. I had had similar ones, but that was so dirty and broken. I am an thirty-one office worker, so I should wear the good shoes. It's manner. It's a point that makes one great.

At shinjuku, I bought a brilliant shirt too. That shirt is a so-called Cool-Biz one. White and red stripe as well as a beautiful collar. That cost about ten thousand yen, but I am very satisfied with this one.

New apparatus

I finished the job by six o'clock, then I went to Shinjuku to buy new apparatus. A table lamp is that. The other day I wrote on this blog that I need an electric dictionary with back light in order to ease my eyes. I was too eager to look over my electric dictionary to look up new words.

I went to Shinjuku and brought a table lamp for about 5 thousand yen. This lamp would decrease the heavy burden on my eyes instead of an electric dictionary with back light. Why didn't I buy that one? Well, it's because the electric dictionary which I intend to buy was so expensive, forty-five thousand yen!


In summary, my new table lamp is lightening around my table at home. And I am thinking that this environment make my eyes better. Thanks God.

First, I will complete reading 'iCon' within the next week. To do this I concentrate myself thoroughly. Quick reading is necessary.

Second, I quit smoking and drinking completely. And I will sleep early and awake early and walk fast. I don't have a plenty of time. I have something to do. Time is money.

Finally, I would eat a lot of vegetable and fruits. Eating raw vegetable and fruit make me more effective. This is completely clear. I run that direction. I am a fruitarian. I am a vegetarian.

'Think different' is important.


I am reading the book that written about Steve Jobs, who is a founder of Apple Computer and produced the iPod. He is truly an entrepreneur. He is a revolutionist. At 1970, he was a youngest billionaire in the world.

'Think different', which was a copy of Apple, produce enormous profits. 'Think different' means not drop ordinary whose profit is zero. As he, I wanna be a valuable person.

Nakata was certainly there

Nakata was not certainly good at the World Cup in Germany. However, I don't say only but he was a great player for soccer of Japan. His style was kind of brilliant.

I have more things what he is, but my English ability is poor then I say "That's it".

Nakata, Japanese soccer player, proclaimed to retire from soccer at his homepage several days ago. He was a greatest soccer player in Japan. His statement disappointed almost all Japanese, but his contribution to Japan soccer is kind of praised, I think.

As I was a college student, I read "Werther" over and over again. I felt Werther as me, and I was strongly fascinated by the grace of the sentence.

Werther said, "If people would only warn themselves daily, that one cannot do anything for one's friends but leave them their pleasure and add to their happiness by sharing it with them. Are you able to give them one drop of comfort when their souls are tormented by a violent passion or crushed by grief?"

England was defeated

England was defeated by Portugal the day before yesterday at the World Cup. It was shocked for me as well as Brazil's loss. My World Cup is almost over.

By the way, I bow something today. I completely quit drinking for some time. And I am completely eager to concentrate myself to realize my dream. It's because I drunk on the last Friday and I lost myself again. Then, I had a terribly hangover on the Saturday and! Sunday.

I lost two days! I lost my important time to do something important! And, in the English class with Nichole, nevertheless it's three times to end, I am completely unuseful. What a fool I am!

I have a good expectation for the new coach of Japan soccer team, Osim. I have read a book written about his life. He is smart. He is honest. He is really excellent.

What team do you think will win at the FIFA World Cup?

People say that's Germany or Brazil, but I say England will win. England is a better team than people think. There are three reasons. First, England is originally strong in spite of recent trouble. Remember. Prior to the tournament, England was second place on the odds of championship.

Second, England especially has a strong defence line formed by Terry, Ferdinand, and Champbel. I think to go on at the tournament the strength of defence is the most important factor.

Finally, I stress, the most critical point of the victory of England is England has several key players, Beckam, Rooney, (and Owen..). Germany is certainly strong. Brazil is too. But they have too much good players. Having too much good players ends up diffusing their power, focus, and strategies.


Then, I predict that England will win. Besides, traveling London was terrifically good!

My diary strategy is the followings:

- Keep writing every day despite trivial matters

Tomorrow is my final Toeic Test Day

I am going to take the Toeic Test tomorrow. I have taken this exam more than ten times. And my best score of this is 870 points. This point is kind of good score. And this time, I'll get over 900 points.

To this test, I have prepared whatever I do. Getting over 900 points is, of course, difficult, but I swear I concentrate on achieving the goal tomorrow.

I had a dream, which is that I join in Workthought, brilliant software company, someday. Martin Fowler, whom I respect the most, lead this company worldwide.

Movie Area - As Good As It Gets

One of my most favorite movies is 'As Good As It Gets', which is 'A writer of romance' in Japanese title. Jack Nicholson, Helen Hant, and Greg Kinnear are starring in this movie. Why I love this movie is that the actors and actresses do brilliant play and the dog who is starring too plays so good, as well as I feel that Melvin Udall, played by Jack Nicholson, is a little similar to me.

I completely understood Melvin's character at the first time. And I found same character in myself. That was strange or foolish that Melvin who has severe obsessive-complusive disorder is same to me. Everyone has Melvin's character. Everyone has a character in a movie. But especially I have same sence with Melvin. Ummm. I am odd, amn't I?

Anyway, I love this movie. And I bought the DVD for about five thousand yen. The dicision was not regret.

I have invested in the stock market. In Japan and China. The result is so far good. And I'll try to get more one million dollars in the stock market.

"Speedo"

Speedo is a brand name of swimwares. Today, when I was taking English lesson with my teacher, Nichole, my friend R. emailed me that he asked me to ask Nichole about the word, "Speedo". I just asked her about this word, and her answer was "Speedo is just a brand name of swimwares."

However, "Speedo" means, too, man's explicit swimming trunks in slang. He intended to trap me into a kind of embarrassment that I talk to a young lady with that word. Anyway, the conversation was ended by a brand name matter, and we were naturally going on.


Even so, he is a really good man.

My favorite dinner

I write whatever I think, even though it's not a matter that I take trouble to mention that. It's because it must be useful for boosting my English ability, I suppose. Then, this time, I am thinking about writing about my favorite dinner that I usually cook for myself.

Name:
- Brown rice, avocados and fried eggplants and green peppers with miso

Ingredients:
- eggplant(2)
- green pepper(3)
- avocado(1)
- brown rice(one to two go)

How to cook:
1. Peel an avocado, slice it, and serve to the table
2. Slice eggplants and green peppers
3. Fry sliced eggplants and green peppers with the frying pan
4. Add miso, soybean paste, to being fried eggplans and green pepper
5. As it is fried well done, then turn it to the plate and serve to the table
6. turn boiled brown rise to a rice bowl, concurrently
7. That's it

How to eat:
1. Add soy source to the sliced avocados
2. Put the avocados on the brown rise
3. Put the fried eggplants and green peppers on the brown rise, too
4. Eat it


It's simple and very delicious for me. (But I suppose that it's somehow weird for somebody else.)

I am reading ST

I am subscribing ST, which published by The Japan Time weekly. This newspaper's selling point is that you can read this English articles without a dictionary. At first I didn't read this seriously, but during Golden Week I appreciate the value that ST has.

I read this all over and memorize unknown words, and after that, I read same articles again. This method is valuable for me concerning learning English efficiently.

Physical area

I am attempting to make my physical ability maximum. I tried to rock-climb and someday I will try to run a marathon. On holidays I go jogging around the Inogashira Park, and there I am trying to stand my hands and chin myself by one hand.

Starting to rock-climb makes me eager to train myself. The possibility of human being is infinite. It was surprised that I could climb steep rocks at Izu Peninsula. A man can overcome his limits by intending to overcome that.

Someday, I can stand my own hands to everywhere.

Someday, I can do chin-up by my one hand.

Someday, I can climb the steepest rock around the world.

Think about my teens and twenties

I am in thirties now. And I have to utilize my teens and twenties for my thirties or forties. What are things that I had done at teens and twenty? I start to think this topic right now.

In my teens I struggled to get my identity. I was indulging nonsense matters, and did ridiculous things, but I was thinking that I want to do more valuable things for me and the world. I had read tons books, which covered various topics, and shaped my thought into my society and circumstances.

In my twenties I was out to the society and I learned the various topics. I learned IT, business management, finance, and English. I hoped that I was able to give the world more value. I concentrated myself to change myself and change the world. I actually intented to make me more valuable and more sophisticated.


My preparation had done. I just do it.

The Golden Week has started

In this Golden Week, I fully intend to study English every day. I have to proceed to my goal step by step. The thing that I should do first is to master English thoroughly.

Every day I am doing these things;

1. Read "Werther" out loud
2. Solve TOEIC listening questions
3. Listen to CNN News by my iPod


Reading out loud is very good practice for learning English. I always read several passage in my favorite book at least at five times. This makes me ready to learn English efficiently. And also makes me be more good speaker probably.

He finds his way at his thirty, confirms his way at his forty.

Confucius, the most famous Chinese philosopher, said in his book that a man has to find his way at thirty and confirm his way at forty. I entirely agree with this statement.

One of my favorite authors, Nanami Shiono, made reference to this statement in her essays, which is my recent favorite book. She said that a man who still don't find his way by his forty is a misery person. His unhappiness makes us awake that he is unhappy.

Her keen eye for humanity is admitted by myself and the world. Then, I was shocked that her sentence. I was shocked that I was at thirty and the time to forty is short.


I have to live on my own way at thirty eagerly.

Happiness is not from present.

Happiness is not from present, much less from past. Happiness is from our own process. Living our own best lives makes us happy. The notion of happy is coming from how we are living right now.

I am thinking that this sense is very important for us. Huge property or high prestige make no sense. More important thing is an ability producing huge property and high prestige, or rather, living his own life at just the right now.


We have to find ourselves to live our lives.

Be a genius.

We all were geniuses when we were children. As I look at a child playing at a park, this sense is always coming to me. They, children, are pure, natural, and very talented.

We grown-ups are same. When we are pure, natural, and instinctive, we are all geniuses. A few years ago, I felt a genius in myself. At that time, I was eager to concentrate all my efforts on getting my goals, such as a qualification or an incisive mind.

To be a genius, I have to do the following things:

3. Concentrate on my goals

I will probably go to London the day after tomorrow. It's a secret for my colleagues. Besides, therefore, my friends who read my this blog working for same company don't say to anyone about this, please. Uhmmm, it's a complex matter.

My tension is booming. Traveling London is my second time of a series of going around all the world on foot. This time, I have to recognize Europe as a major part of western culture. And I have to learn British English too. It's because I am going to be a worldwide person.

The Cherry Blossoms

I went to a Hanami, a cherry blossom-viewing picnic, last week. With my colleagues I went to the Ueno Park. Its petals had already dropped a little, but the cherry blossom was really beautiful. However, although I don't want to say that, I drunk too much. The cherry blossoms fit sake, Japanese alcohole, and I drunk it too much. Then I lost myself again. I am a regretless person.

I am challenging all the things. And I was thinking that I conquered alcohol when I was a college student. The dream had ended. However, I dropped same trap today. I have to know "regret".

English conversation lesson

I have taken English conversation lesson with my teacher, who is American and lives in Tokyo. My friends and I started this lesson about four months ago. We usually meet at a restaurant in Tokyo once a week. Today, I got it too.

Talking with a native speaker is actually boosting my English ability. I am thinking I continue taking this kind of lessons. Although I can't speak English fluently yet, someday I can do that. I got a souvenir from my teacher, did't I? :-)

I drunk too much over my limit

Yesterday, I went to a wedding party of my friend. It was a brilliant party. I, however, drunk too much over my limit. Then I lost myself and my memory.

My job

I am working for a company that provides solutions of computing software. At my company I have made applications for industrial use as a developer, a consultant, and a software architect. I love my job. I love the software industry. And I love to create efficient solutions for our clients.

My company has some shortcomings. I don't descrive these, but I am thinking that I want to make my company better. Actually I can do that. Then I have to do that. For my colleague, for my client, and for my country, I have to do that.


Through my experiences and studies for about ten years, my abilty of solving problems has extremely been boosted. Thank you.

Promoted

Yesterday my company held a conference of announcing new year strategies. At this conference what I was promoted was announced. I will be an Acting Manager of my department. It's not a fastest promotion in my company, but my emotion has something new.

I was waiting something, an emotional change. My heart desired something big. And my attribute has certainly changed.


New days are come.

I'll get 900 points

I'll get 900 points in the next TOEIC Test. It's my hope. It's my desire.

I have learned English for about two years. I have read various books, I have written various issues, and I have spoken various topics. (There are some false because my writing and speaking are bad. Sorry.)

To get 900 points, I have to do these things: speak more, write more, and solve more. And the most important thing is to concentrate. Concentrating produces more tention. More tension makes me more effective. Concentrating to daily life gives me 900 points.

I lost

I couldn't update my blog because I lost to myself the day before yesterday. On the day, I went to rock-climb at the Mizonokuchi gym after finishing my job. But, I couldn't. I couldn't climb a route that I had been able to climb before. It was shocked.

I analyzed why I couldn't climb. And I thought that the cause of this defeat was in myself. I had exercised more than before, but I drunk alcohol and didn't sleep early. And these facts caused me less power. I was really, really disappointed. (drinking at the Izakaya...)


I have to decide something. I have to decide I am a loser or winner. Judgment Day is coming.

To write a literate writing, for me, in the near future

I love literature, like Werther, Anna Karenina, or Les Miserables. And I want to write a literate sentence in English in the near future. I felt that to write that stuff I have to read literature in English more and mimic these.

To be honest, I have already read Young Werther speaking loudly. I am thinking it is very good for me to master literate expressions. I wrote "the right truck" in previous my blog; that means I have done that, so I will certainly get that.


I get it. I will get it. In the near future, for me.

The more I know world, the more I know my country

In truth I had some doubt of my country, Japan, before I traveled the world. People seemed to be less moral and less honest, for me, just a little. However, while knowing outer world, I have a confidence to love my country, actually.

Japanese people are wonderful. They are very modest. They are very polite. They are, too, very facinative. One of the most valuable insight from my trip is this. New York City was great. But, I thought Japan and Japanese are so great too.


The more I know world, The greater my sense to my country is.

Someday I will go back to New York City

Someday I will probably go back to New York City to confirm my starting point of journying all around the world. Traveling New York City made me shocked concerning realistic experiences of the world.

To be a more valuable existence for the world, I had to know the world and know about myself. It was a challenge for me to realize my dream that I give the world a lots value.

I have to read more books. I have to write more thoughts. I have to know about the world and the people. And, I have to sleep already. Good night, friends.

Right journey

I am thinking that I will journey variable counties, like America, England, China, India, Russia, Brazil, and so on.

I feel that I am in the right direction. Although I started studying English in earnest when I was old, I'm sure now that the decision was not incorrect.

I'm probably going to London next month. Why London?

I went to New York City this month, and I felt that I should see Europe as well in order to understand the western culture. Both America and Europe gives me more sense to the world. Then, London.
